TUTORIALS: About the Pattern Feature in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire

Version: Pro/E Wildfire, Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire 3.0, Wildfire 4.0

Pattern is very useful when you need to create a series of features by varying its dimensions. You can create pattern for a single feature, a group of features or another pattern feature in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. (* Pattern for a pattern feature only available in Pro/E Wildfire 3.0, Wildfire 4.0 and above)

 

There are 7 types of pattern in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0. Among thus, Dimensional Pattern, Reference Pattern and Table Pattern were carried from Pro/E 2001. Fill Pattern was introduced in the first version of Pro/E Wildfire and being upgraded in Pro/E Wildfire 3.0. Directional Pattern and Axis Pattern were introduced in Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 and Curve Pattern in Pro/E Wildfire 3.0.
