TUTORIAL: Mirror Part command in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0

Version: ProE Wildfire 3.0, Wildfire 4.0

A new mirror part command is created in Pro/ENGIEER Wildfire 3.0 to reduce the steps of creating a mirror part. Compared to the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 which needs an assembly as the medium, this improvement has made the mirror part creation straight forward and simple.

Mirror part command is a new improvement in ProE Wildfire 3.0 and this command will be continued in ProE Wildfire 4.0, Wildfire 5.0 and above. The following tutorial shows you the steps to create mirror part using the new mirror part command.

1. Open a part file which you want to create a mirror of it.

 

2. Pick File > Mirror Part from the top menu.

3. The mirror part dialog box appears for you to set the options. You can choose to create a mirror for geometry only or include all feature data.

4. Pick the OK button when you are done. The mirror part is created and appears as the active window. Remember to save the mirror part before exit.
