TIPS: Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Exclude Pattern Instances

 Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Exclude Pattern Instances done 

There are a few important improvements for pattern feature in ProE Wildfire 2.0. Besides the direction and axis pattern, you can now exclude the pattern instances in the pattern command. These improvements are being carried forward to ProE Wildfire 3.0, ProE Wildfire 4.0 and later version.

Pattern feature is come with the light weight preview starting from Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. Instances are represented with small black circles in the model display.

 Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Exclude Pattern Instances - pick

To exclude some of the pattern instances, click a black circle to turn it to white. White circle represented the excluded pattern instances.

You can come back and un-exclude the instances any time by using the edit definition command.
