FLASH TUTORIAL: Creating Hole Feature in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (Part 2)

Version: Pro/E Wildfire, Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire 3.0, Wildfire 4.0

There are 4 methods that you can fully constrain a hole feature in Pro/E Wildfire part Modeling.

Here is the summary:

1.    3 References (1 primary reference and 2 secondary references) with 2 linear dimensions
2.    2 References (1 primary reference and 1 secondary reference)
3.    1 Reference (1 primary reference only)
4.    3 References (1 primary reference and 2 secondary references) with 1 radial dimension and 1 angular dimensions

The steps are presented in the flash format and considering the loading time, this thread has being divided into 2 parts.

3. 1 Reference (1 primary reference only)

In this method, a point is being used as the primary reference. No dimension is required.

4. 3 References (1 primary reference and 2 secondary references) with 1 radial dimension and 1 angular dimensions

A surface is selected as the primary reference. After that, you can change the driven dimension type to the radial or diameter. You would need an axis as the secondary reference which a radial / dimension is attached. Another secondary
