TIPS: Apply Shrinkage by Dimension in Pro/MOLD, Pro/ENGINEER Version: ProE Wildfire, Wildfire2.0, Wildfire3.0 Besides Shrinkage by Scale, You can apply a shrinkage using Shrinkage by Dimension in Pro/ENGINEER. To activate the Shrinkage by Dimension command, you can click Shrinkage > By Dimension in the Pro/MOLD menu manager or simply click the Shrinkage by Dimension icon  (hide behind the Shrinkage by Scale icon by default). This article basically explains the options in the Shrinkage by Dimension dialog box so that you are able to apply shrinkage more accurate. Formula Formula you want to use to calculate shrinkage. Check – Dimension(s) in the part changed after applying shrinkage. Uncheck - Dimension(s) in the part remain and a Shrinkage feature is created in the model tree Input the Shrinkage Ratio to the selected dimensions. You can specify the shrinkage ratio or the final value for the dimension. Besides, you can set a general shrinkage ratio for the non selected dimensions.
Calculation Order After Relations - Shrinkage applied after evaluating the relations set on dimensions. Before Relations - Shrinkage applied before evaluating the relations set on dimensions.

- Select the dimension which you like to specify a shrinkage ratio. The selected dimension is inserted as a new row in the table.
- Select the feature in the part which you like to specify a shrinkage ratio. When selected, all the dimensions will be inserted as in the table. 
- Switches the display of dimensions between the numeric values and symbolic names. You can type in the dimension’s symbolic name besides selecting it by mouse.
