You need to get a specific installation CDs for Pro/ENGINEER with Windows XP X64. Installation CDs for ProE Windows XP 32 bit will not run in Windows XP 64 bit edition.

You need to get a specific installation CDs for Pro/ENGINEER with Windows Vista. There would be not response when you put the installation CDs for ProE with other OS in Widows Vista.

Only Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 is supported in Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate edition and Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition. Pro/E Wildfire 3.0 and older versions is not able to run on Microsoft Windows Vista.

The downloaded files contains no features when open with ProE

I try to open the downloaded tutorial files using Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 and Wildfire 3.0 but there is nothing inside. What happened to the files?

To reduce the Pro/E file size, we suppressed all the features in the model. Just resume all the features to proceed. To see the reason why we do so, please visit the link below.

I downloaded some tutorial files from proengineertips.com but I’m not able to open them. Why?

All the Pro/E files are created using Pro/E Wildfire 2.0. So if you are using Pro/E 2001 and Wildfire, you are not able to open them. We’re not going to create another set of data as Wildfire 2.0 and Wildfire 3.0 users / visitors are more than 85%. Sorry for the inconvenient caused.
