TIPS: How can I control the printing line thickness in Pro/E? Version: Pro/E 2001, Wildfire, Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire 3.0 Pro/ENGINEER detailing uses colors to differentiate types of entity on your display. For example, white color for geometry, grey for hidden, yellow for dimension and notes, and so on.
The figure shown below is the default Pro|ENGINEER detailing colors scheme:  When you print the drawing with a grayscale printer / plotter, the system will automatically map the colors with the pen allocated. There are 8 pens allocated in Pro|ENGINEER. You can customize the pen weight thru the config.pro configuration command.
