TIPS: Erase Edge Display in Pro/ENGINEER Drawing

Version: Pro/E Wildfire, Wildfire2.0, Wildfire3.0

Drawing view is displayed as single entity in Pro/ENGINEER. So, you are not able to select and delete the lines / edges as how drafting software does.

Below is a quick tip showing how to erase edges in Pro/ENGINEER drawing.

1. In drawing mode, click View > Drawing Display > Edge Display

2. Menu manager will appear to you. Pick Erase Line to activate the erase command. 

3. Pick the lines which you wish to erase and then click the OK in the small dialog box to confirm.

4. The edges / lines will now disappear from the drawing view.

To enable back the erased line, pick the desire style in the menu manager and select the line again.
