TIPS: Component Display Color in Pro/ENGINEER Drawing

Version: Pro/E Wildfire, Wildfire2.0, Wildfire3.0

All the components are displayed in white by default. When you want to make a component different than others, different line types or colors may be your first thought. However, how to change the display color for a component in Pro/ENGINEER drawing?

1.    In drawing mode, click View > Drawing Display > Component Display

2.    Menu manager will appear to you. The system is expecting you to select the component which you want to change the display.

3.    Pick a component and then click the OK in the small dialog box to confirm

4.    Next, from the extended menu, choose User Color to select color.

5.    Select the color you wish to assign and click the OK button.

Component color will now switch to the desire color.
