Versions: ProE Wildfire 4.0 and above

Interface for open file dialog box in ProE Wildfire 4.0 has changed. It is actually based on Windows Vista user interface.

There are pros and cons on this new interface.

Pros
Folder hierarchy structure – It allow you to go directly to the parent folder
Search – It allow you to do the search in the open dialog box
Desktop – You can now pick up or save files on desktop easily
Open Rep – Allow you to open the simplify rep of an assembly

Cons
Preview is now below the files window. It indirectly causes the preview windows smaller because the conventional display’s vertical always smaller.
