Version: ProE 2001, Wildfire, Wildfire2.0 and Wildfire3.0

When the auto constrain is being used in Pro/ENGINEER Assembly, the assemble part / component is constrained sometime coincident and sometime offset. How can I control the above behavior?

The config.pro option below is used to set whether auto constraint should create offsets in ProE Assembly.

auto_constr_always_use_offset

Yes - Auto constraint always creates offsets.

No* - Auto constraint snaps align or mate if surfaces are within tolerance.

Never - Auto constraint never creates offsets.

* - indicates the default value in Pro/ENGINEER
